FAQ
Q: Is the guitar I see online actually in the store?
The Volume 11 Answer: Yes. Unlike big-box retailers that use "ghost inventory" from warehouses across the country, if it’s on our site and marked in stock, it’s physically here at 4006 Lafayette Blvd. You can come in and play the exact instrument you’re looking at.
Q: Will my new guitar be set up, or just pulled from a box?
The Volume 11 Answer: Big-box stores often hand you a "factory sealed" box that hasn't been touched since it left overseas. At Volume 11, every guitar is inspected and basic-utility-checked by a human before it hits our wall. We also offer on-site pro setups—something national chains often have a 2-week waiting list for.
Q: Who is actually teaching my music lessons?
The Volume 11 Answer: You aren't getting a rotating "gig worker." You are studying with established Fredericksburg pros like Rik, Joseph, or Mark. You get the same expert every week who knows your progress, not just whoever the corporate office scheduled that day.
Q: Can I get my guitar repaired the same day?
The Volume 11 Answer: While big chains often have to "ship out" repairs or put you at the end of a massive queue, we handle our own guitar and drum repairs in-house. We prioritize our local players to get you back on stage (or in the practice room) faster.
Q: Why should I pay $5 more here than at a massive chain?
The Volume 11 Answer: That $5 stays in Fredericksburg. It pays for local teachers, sponsors local events, and ensures that when you have a gear emergency on a Saturday night, there’s a real person you can call who actually knows your name.
